At Grace Christian School, excellence in education isn’t just a goal—it’s a daily reality, thanks to the dedication and leadership of outstanding educators like Mrs. Janice Moreau and Ms. Marian Deville. We’re proud to announce that both of these remarkable women have recently been recognized for their lifelong commitment to students and education.
Mrs. Janice Moreau was inducted into the Northwestern State University Hall of Distinguished Educators on November 4th during a special ceremony at NSU. With an impressive 47 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Moreau has impacted generations of students both inside and outside the classroom. For the past 15 years, she has served as a mentor and supervisor, guiding new educators with the same care and wisdom she brings to her students. At Grace Christian School, she continues to lead as a school mentor and the sponsor of our active and growing 4-H Club.
Ms. Marian Deville was also honored at Northwestern State University, where she received the prestigious Top School Counselor Award during a recent counselor’s luncheon. With over 52 years in education, including 30 years as a school counselor, Ms. Deville has been a pillar of emotional and academic support for students throughout the parish. Her dedication has shaped lives and strengthened families. For the past 12 years, she has served Grace Christian School with compassion, insight, and a heart for every child.
We are beyond grateful for the leadership, love, and legacy these two women bring to our school community. Their recent awards are a testament to the profound impact they have had—not only here at Grace but across the entire state.
Thank you, Mrs. Moreau and Ms. Deville, for your tireless commitment and faithful service. You are a true blessing to Grace Christian School!
